Nina A Spencer -The Chaotic Mum Mentor Parenting Doula Founder of the Wabi-Sabi Way Of Life.
Nina or Ninja, to her friends, is a mum to twins twice!
Having become pregnant with twins after 5 long years of infertility, followed by a round of fertility drugs, she found that motherhood wasn't quite the instagram perfect life she had imagined.
Being undiagnosed and untreated, for Postnatal depression, Nina found herself so overwhelmed and lonely at times within her motherhood. The house in ruin, relationships strained and mental health declining. She had the "The mother of all panic attacks" on Christmas day 2014.
This breakdown was the push Nina needed to get the right help, to build her "toolbox of wellbeing".
In 2017, feeling much better mentally, Nina and her husband decided to try for just one more baby.
After a round of baileys on their wedding anniversary and an early scan to make sure there was only one, the family found out it was going to be twins again.
This time, after getting her head around having two tiny humans again, Nina faced her worst of times.
She was diagnosed with Placenta Percreta, a rare, life-threatening pregnancy complication.
Having spent the last couple of weeks of her pregnancy in hospital writing letters to her kids just in case the worst happened, she prayed to whoever, they would get her through the operation.
Now using the tools Nina picked up on her journey, both within her motherhood and mental health as well as those she picked up during her roles in the past from factory floor process, to hospitality, entertainments, and logistics she mentors other mums who are in overwhelm, hurtling towards a breakdown or as what she called crisis mode.
She now holds the hands of these mums to help them create their own bespoke toolbox of wellbeing, give them guidance to take their home and relationships from breaking point to a life that is fulfilled and full of love and memories.
